At Thrive Mobile, we want to make sure you get the most out of your plan. Here are a few simple ways to get the most out of your data:
1. Use Wifi when you can - Connect to Wifi when you’re at school, work, the library, or other places that may offer available Wifi. Connecting to Wifi will reduce the amount of your cellular data you will use.
2. Limit use of your cellular data by using Wifi during data-heavy actions - It uses a lot of cellular data when downloading games, movies, music, or updates onto your device or when conducting video calls. Use Wifi when downloading resources onto your device, streaming, or making video calls.
3. Close apps you are not using - Many apps keep using data in the background even when you are not actively using your phone or the app.
4. Use “data saver” mode - Many phones have a data saver setting that helps save your data.
If you have a Moto G Play device, you can turn on “Data Saver” on by going to: Settings > Network & internet > Data Saver > toggling the switch to “On”
If you have a TCL device, you can turn on “Data Saver” on by going to:
Settings > Connections > SIM cards & mobile network > Data usage > Data saver > toggle the “Use data saver” switch to “On”
If you have a Schok Volt device, you can turn on “Data Saver” by going to:
Settings > Network & Internet > Data Saver > toggle the switch to “On”
